Inhabits above-ground parts of terrestrial plants, usually the underside of leaves where spider mites mostly feed. It is predominantly used to control pest mites on crops grown under glass (e.g., cucumber, tomato, capsicum and strawberry) and ornamental plants (e.g., rose, chrysanthemum, gerbera and orchid). It is also used on some unprotected crops, e.g., strawberry, hops, water melons and citrus. Records from uncultivated habitats are mainly in areas with a Mediterranean climate.
